To switch the setting . remove the light from the pole; the switch is located under the light. Markers recharge over a 6-8 hour period in the daylight. Once charged . markers provide 6-8 hours of steady illumination . or 12-14 hours of illumination on the flashing setting. No wires needed to install these items. Easy to install.
